Redskins owner Dan Snyder has added another jewel to his crown: The Lady Anne, a 224-foot “superyacht” purchased for the bargain price of $70 million, give or take a few million.Dan bought the Lady Anne with a group of investors for about half the build costs.
The Lady Anne was custom-made for Jerome and Anne Fisher in 2006 and apparently named after her. They spared no expense on what is regarded as one of the best-designed mega-yachts in existence. Fisher co-founded the shoe company Nine West and sold his interest to Jones Apparel Group for $885 million in 1999. The couple lived the grand life in Palm Beach until 2008, when they lost $150 million in the Bernie Madoff investment scandal, reported the New York Post.
